The Board of Trustees typically meets every 3rd Wednesday at noon in the Steelcase Board Room.  In accordance with Alabama’s Open Meetings act, public notice of board meetings will be posted at least seven days in advance. Notices will be posted on the front page of the Library website, on the calendar of events, promoted on social media, and a physical notice will be posted on the community notice boards located in the  lobby.

The Library does not have any control over board appointments. The Library will continue to serve the residents of Athens and Limestone County as best it can and as long as it can with the funding that it receives.
